The Journal of Research and development in comparative law (Former Legal Encyclopedias) is published with a double-blind peer review process and anonymous reviewers, with open access. The owner of this journal is the “Iranian Law and Legal Research Institute”. This journal was established in the winter of 2018 with the title of “legal Encyclopedias” and the title of the journal was changed to “Research and development in comparative law” in September 2022. This journal provides a research environment for national and international researchers focusing on comparative legal issues. The journal aims to reflect the advancements in the field of law and report on important legal findings by focusing on publishing high-quality articles.
To provide easy and global access to the latest research findings, this journal emphasizes on open access and is financially supported by the “Iranian Law and Legal Research Institute” from the initial stages to the publication of the articles.
The editorial team and the experts of this journal consists of professors from all universities or judges of the Supreme Court of the country and are invited from different universities of Tehran, Beheshti, Allameh Tabataba'i, Tarbiat Modares, Judicial Sciences, Isfahan, and Mashhad, and international editorials from California State University, and Université de Moncton Northridge. They are also among the theoreticians and related doctrines, providing a basis for interdisciplinary legal studies.
The Journal of Research and development in comparative law is published in both print and online formats. It is also worth mentioning that this journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and abides by its Code of Conduct in dealing with misconducts.
This journal publishes unique and high-quality papers. All manuscripts submitted to this journal will be screened for similarity check with plagiarism detection tools.
