Peer Review Process

Article Peer Review Process for journal of Research and development in comparative law

Submission by the Author(s)

The manuscript is submitted by the author(s) through the journal’s online submission system.

 

Preliminary Review by the Journal Office

The editorial staff reviews the submission for compliance with the journal’s formatting and scope guidelines. If the submission does not meet the requirements, it is returned to the author(s) for corrections.

At this stage, a similarity check is conducted using anti-plagiarism software. If significant overlap with existing works is detected, the manuscript may be rejected or returned to the author(s) for modification. In addition, if there is a potential for legal liability, the manuscript is reviewed by the journal’s legal advisor. If the content and structure of the manuscript are acceptable, it is sent to the Editor-in-Chief.

 

Review by the Editor-in-Chief

Once the preliminary check is completed successfully, the Editor-in-Chief evaluates the manuscript. After the Editor-in-Chief’s evaluation, the manuscript is sent to the Editorial Board. The Editorial Board may either accept or reject the manuscript. If the manuscript is rejected at this stage, it is returned to the author(s). If approved by the Editorial Board, the manuscript proceeds to the peer review stage.

 

Peer Review Process

If approved by the Editorial board, the manuscript is sent to at least two experts for double-blind peer review. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, methodology, scientific validity, and ethical compliance.

 

Decision on the manuscript

After the peer review process, the reviewers’ comments and recommendations are sent to the Editor-in-Chief. At this stage, the manuscript may require minor or major revisions, or it may be rejected.

If revisions are required, the manuscript is returned to the author(s) for modification.

In the case of major revisions, the revised manuscript is usually sent back to the reviewers for a second round of review.

For minor revisions, the Editor-in-Chief may review the revised manuscript directly and make the final decision regarding acceptance.

 

Initial acceptance

Once all major and minor revisions have been addressed by the author(s), the manuscript is granted initial acceptance.

 

 

Control matching

 

At this stage, the manuscript is reviewed to ensure that its structure, and content comply with the journal’s submission guidelines. This includes checking the organization of sections, reference style, length, and the relevance of the topic to the journal’s scope. If the manuscript does not meet these requirements, it is returned to the author(s) for correction. At the end of this stage, the manuscript is granted for the final acceptance.

 

 

Manuscript language Editing and Formatting

In this stage, the manuscript is checked and corrected for writing quality to improve language clarity. Additionally, the formatting is adjusted to meet the journal’s guidelines, including font, spacing, and section structure.

 

Final Submission by the Author(s)

Upon final acceptance of the article and its editing, the author(s) must Approve the editions and send the final version of article based on the guidelines

 

Preparation for publishing

The manuscript undergoes final formatting and production processes in preparation for publication.
